Thread starter newbie Start date Jan 3, Thanks for reading. Hi everyone, This is my first posting on AVForums so please forgive me if this topic has been talked about before. I have it set up to my wireless network so I can watch BBC iPlayer and other internet services that come with the player. However I am lead to believe that the player can also stream movies and other video files that I have on my PC.
However I cannot figure out how to do this. Do I have to arrange my files in a certain way on my PC? Do I have to enable certain settings? I understand how things on the Blu Ray itself work but it doesn't find any files. If someone can help me with this I would greatly appreciate it.
This post is intended to help others that aim to do the same thing i sought to do and was successful after much research. It does take a bit of time for the media you select to be added to its library so be patient. Make sure to select your blu ray player it finds as the sony blu ray player profile. The forums for serviio also talks about using it to stream video to ipads but I have yet to test this feature. Hope this helps.
